Katko’s change-over switches – with or without an enclosure, 16-160 A & 630-800 A
Change-over switches, or transfer switches, are used when power source needs to be transferred, for example for the duration of maintenance work. The advantage of a change-over switch is that the user can easily switch the source of power. The mechanism of the switch makes sure that when main power is switched off, the alternative source is switched on (1-2 switch). Change-over switches are also available with OFF- position (1-0-2 switch).
Katko’s wide range of switches and accessories include manual change-over / transfer switches – with or without an enclosure. 3- and 4 pole change-over switches consist of two 3- and 4 pole switches that are connected with a change-over kit or by modular design of the switch, depending on size of the switch.
Katko’s enclosed change-over / transfer switches are available here.
