We’re looking for two Area Sales Manager to join our international commercial team in Dubai, UAE.
As an Area Sales Manager, you drive profitable growth by meeting sales targets, executing Katko’s go-to-market strategy and supporting our sales channels in converting opportunities into results. You identify new customers and channels, guide pricing and budgeting, and ensure our partners have the right products, insights and tools to succeed. By actively following key opportunities, analysing markets and competitors, and contributing to accurate forecasting, you help strengthen Katko’s market position and secure long-term customer relationships.
This position includes regular international travel, approximately 80–100 days per year, offering a dynamic and varied work environment.
Task for this role:
Strategy adaption and implementation
Delivery of budget expectations. Responsible for meeting or exceeding order, order mix and margin targets
Assist with the budgeting process and in price positioning
Customer and channel acquisition
Follow up of market intelligence, business planning and implementation of strategic actions
Assist in the creation of monthly orders forecasts, based upon CRM pipeline and knowledge of the market
Hot opportunity follow up
Product portfolio
Competitor benchmarking
Assist sales channels with white spot analysis and key account planning
Joint customer visits and participation in customer meetings
Support and presentations in customer seminars and exhibitions
Responsible for supporting global / regional frame agreements and ensuring that they are fully complied with in all respects
Qualifications:
Experience of supporting a front-end sales operation preferable in GCC region 5-10 years at similar sector
Working experience with different cultures in order to have sensitivity on cultural behaviour
Networking, social, team builder, result and customer oriented; assertive but also flexible
Having hunger for business and result making
Willingness to travel
Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic
Already having UAE and KSA Visas are considered as an advantage
High desire to delight our customers; outside -> in thinking
Competence in products, applications, markets and competition
Ability to build mutual trust with different teams.
