KATKO Strengthens Presence in UK: Ian Bullock Appointed Sales Director

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Bullock as Sales Director for KATKO in the UK, effective November 5, 2025. This newly created role within KATKO’s commercial organization marks a significant step in strengthening our market presence in the UK. It will also allow us to further enhance the service and support we provide to our customers, partners, and distribution network. 

Ian brings with him over 25 years of extensive experience in managing businesses in the electrical, industrial and instrumentation segments in the region. He spent the past 2 years with Mitsubishi Electric. Prior to this, Ian had general management, product management and marketing & sales responsibilities at Belden, Draeger & RS Components among others.

KATKO has operated in the UK market since the 1980s and has achieved steady growth in key sectors through close collaboration with distributors and partners.

In his new role, Ian will report to Jyrki Luomi, and functionally to Sami Kokkomäki, Area Director for Western Europe & Americas. He will be based in the beautiful Yorkshire region in the UK.
